About

Trade Origination for the Markets.

Musika is the sourcing and procurement marketplace supplying Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe from South Africa, built so that cross-border transactions can be originated and structured rather than merely paid for after somebody else created them.

Fostering Trade Across Southern Africa.

Musika exists to make trade between African countries as easy as trade within one. We start with Southern Africa: South African supply, delivered to your business in Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe, on one store, one quotation and one set of rules.

Every order that crosses a border on Musika is a step towards one African market. Southern Africa first, and the rest of the continent after it.

Musika is co-owned by two companies that work together: Cabanga Africa Group (Pty) Ltd, the South African entity, and Cabanga Africa (Pty) Ltd, the Botswana entity, which built the platform. It sells from South Africa into Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe - to traders, farmers, contractors, institutions and small enterprises in all four markets.

Why a Market and Not Just a Payment App.

A payment platform gets involved after the buyer and the seller have already found each other. By then the commercial decisions - who supplies, at what price, on what terms, with what delivery - have all been made somewhere else.

Musika lets the marketplace participate earlier in the cycle, helping to originate the trade rather than only finance or settle it. The marketplace produces the commercial transaction; the payment environment processes the money; and the two records together describe what was bought, from whom, for how much, whether it arrived and whether it was paid for.

Over time that combined record supports supplier performance assessment, buyer segmentation, procurement forecasting and marketplace intelligence - and, where the regulatory framework allows it, transaction-linked financing built on observed trading behaviour rather than on paperwork alone.
